The Southwest Quantum Information and Technology (SQuInT) Network announces the Fourth Biannual SQuInT Student Summer School and Retreat, to be held at the University of Southern California, July 7-10, 2005, coordinated by Prof. Todd Brun.
The Retreat is an educational activity, with pedagogical and overview lectures geared towards newcomers to the field. In addition, it is intended to provide an opportunity for new students in the field to become acquainted with their peers from other research groups and to establish grass roots connections between the increasing number of research groups active in this field -- hence the name: Summer School and Retreat.
Registration will be limited to new students and researchers in quantum
information science and technology. To initiate the process, complete
and submit the online form.
The deadline for completing registration is April 22, 2005.
